CAPE TEA CO HONEYBUSH FARMS

A stone's throw from the Tsitsikamma Mountains near Plettenberg Bay in South Africa's famous

Garden Route lies the Kurland Estate which has been growing organic honeybush tea for over a decade.

Not too long ago, wild honeybush faced near extinction due to over-harvesting; because of this,

a conscientious decision was made by the farmers at Kurland to cultivate honeybush responsibly

by following the sustainable harvesting guidelines contributing to the conservation of this

indigenous shrub with over 40 hectares dedicated to certified organic honeybush.

Honeybush is indigenous to the Southern Cape of South Africa and is part of the fynbos biome. Naturally sweet, honey-like
aroma and taste, low in tannins, rich in antioxidants and naturally free of caffeine.

Honeybush is perfect for all ages with no reported side effects since its first recorded use in 1705. Kurland's honeybush

is free from pesticides, synthetic chemical fertilizers, additives, preservatives, other agrochemicals and is certified organic .
